Tutoring
Study With S.T.A.R. actively nurtures open communication and understanding with our students; really getting to know how they learn. We have experience working with specific learning needs, including students who are physically or emotionally impaired, students with ADD/ADHD, and those with Autism. Knowing learning styles and cultivating individual lessons, using each of our student’s unique interests, allow them to customize lessons. Maintaining communication with the parents of our students is just as important and we connect parents by allowing parents and guardians to observe sessions.
Morning Sessions
We offer a unique, in-class experience for students that primarily receive home-schooling or that attend private school. Building relationships and learning to work together with peers can benefit a child’s education process. Class sizes are intentionally kept small; six students or less for each class. We offer customized lesson plans and annual assessments to help support parents.
Afternoon Sessions
We offer individualized, one-on-one sessions during the afternoon. Students of all ages and all subjects are welcome during this time. Tutoring sessions are available in one hour sessions and can be customized to the needs of the child.
